Oranges as Your Holiday Centerpiece

Who says that your holiday decorating has to be all greenery all the time? Here's another idea that will greet guests to your home with a delicious holiday aroma. And it couldn't be any easier to make.

Simply decorate several oranges with whole cloves and place them in a bowl. If you like, add a few sprigs of greenery - even better if the greenery has a few red berries. But a bowl of these oranges without any embellishment will be just fine in your foyer, kitchen, family room or dining area during the holidays. And it smells so good!

It can be a lot of fun for you to get together with a group of friends around your kitchen table to make and trade decorated oranges because you'll have a greater variety to display.

By the way, this would make a nice hostess gift during the holidays - and your oranges will catch everyone's eyes... they'll never notice if your bowl comes from The Dollar Tree. Shhhh! I won't tell.
