Decorate with Gourds

When you walk into the grocery store and find a display of gourds in the produce department, you know it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving.
I usually pick up about a dozen assorted gourds at this time of year to replace the fruit in a bowl in my dining room. It's a colorful and simple seasonal display that lasts for weeks... at least until it's time to replace them with colorful glass Christmas balls.
For our November meeting, three PLGC members will use gourds in a floral design exhibit that could be used as a Thanksgiving table centerpiece on a 60" round table with a white tablecloth. Come back next week to see photos of their creations.
