May Day Celebration 2021
Welcome to the 6th Annual May Day Celebration sponsored by Plantation Lakes Garden Club!
It all began in April of 2016 when two members of Crofton Village Garden Club in Maryland came to Millsboro to present a program to members of this brand new garden club on "How to make a May Basket." Our members enjoyed it so much that they decided to give it a try themselves and display a May Basket in front of their home. By year two, a few non-members in the community joined in and also displayed a May Basket. A few more non-members participate each year and we hope that this will someday become a community-wide display.
