

A Fall Update for Atlantic Shores
Two patient gardens at Atlantic Shores Rehab and Health Center received a seasonal update, last week, following the PLGC Expo and Plant Sale. Six members weeded the shrubbery beds, replaced the geraniums that were potted in spring with fall mums and planted several mums and pansies. The purchase of these plants was made possible through our profit from the plant sale. We will be back in November with bulbs to plant in some relatively barren areas of the garden. and we hope to

A No-Rain PLGC Event
Plantation Lakes Garden Club held our second annual PLGC Fall Expo and Plant Sale on Saturday, September 23, It as a beautiful sunny day, unlike our three previous plant sales, and we were very glad to welcome so many people. This event provided an opportunity for PLGC members to educate and inform our neighbors about some of the things we do. We achieved this by placing signage that describes our some of our projects: Blue Star Memorial, Rain Barrel Initiative, Plant it Pink
